Been in Guam for a good part of 2011. Got a tan, 2 cats and a Dog. Here is one of the new cats, Zigmund Furry Bottom the Third.

It is official. My paintings are now being sold in a gallery down in Essex CT! Left Bank Gallery Essex CT. I'm bona fide!

This is the newest painting. some trillium that I saw out in OR. I really do love these flowers.

Red trillium. I really like these flowers and I only had to walk to Tennessee to see them.

Undercast in North Carolina. a view from one of the many balds. a bald being a mountain with a meadow top.

Descending from a mountain in NY. Seeing the river and the distant towns through the haze was surprisingly pretty.

This is from a photo I took while I was on the Appalachian Train in the 100 mile wilderness in Maine. Early October in Maine is beautiful and it was nice to find a stream with beautiful foliage and cool water todrink from.

so I dont have a editing program to run my photos through anymore. these next few are going to be a bit rough but I think you will get a good idea about what is going on in the paintings.

I am always captivated by all the colors of the out doors. I was exceptionally impressed with the colors and layers from the view East off the top of Mount Eisenhower.

Also growing in the area of Garfield campsite, there was a 50' patch of golden rod in bloom that summer that attracted all sorts of wild life. including a little white butterfly.

These were the white aster that were growing outside of my 12' x 12' canvas tent when I was care taking Garfield shelter, in the white mountains.


I had been toying with the idea of making this a diptych for a long time and I finally did it. It looks great so is now two 12" x 12" paintings.

I painted this, sitting across the street from the Auto Road on rout 16 in NH. it was one of my days off. The second summer I worked for the AMC in the White Mountains.
