I am always captivated by all the colors of the out doors. I was exceptionally impressed with the colors and layers from the view East off the top of Mount Eisenhower.

Also growing in the area of Garfield campsite, there was a 50' patch of golden rod in bloom that summer that attracted all sorts of wild life. including a little white butterfly.

I painted this, sitting across the street from the Auto Road on rout 16 in NH. it was one of my days off. The second summer I worked for the AMC in the White Mountains.
